Stan Denniston, a Toronto artist has used photographic groupings to query the notion of recollection, its structure and the ways in which it is affected by the overwhelmingly photoimage-saturated world we live in. Using what appears to be simple travel shots as visual resources, he builds visual ‘correspondences’ to trace his memories of places and events.
